Starting your journey in cosmetology or esthiology at Aveda Institute New Mexico is simple, and we’re here to help every step of the way.
- Connect With Us: Schedule a Career Planning Session to tour the school, meet the admissions team, and talk about your goals in beauty and wellness.
- Apply for Admission: Turn in your application with:
- Proof of age (17+)
- High school diploma or GED
- Letter of intent
- Pre-enrollment checklist (given during your session)
- Explore Financial Aid: Submit your FAFSA. We’ll walk you through scholarships, grants, and payment options.
- Enrollment Appointment: Once your application and FAFSA are in, your Admissions Rep will help you:
- Finalize your spot in the program
- Sign your Enrollment Agreement
- Complete your financial aid plan
- Orientation Day: On your first day in class, get to know your classmates, instructors, and school culture.

My experience here is good ! I’m still in school but I would like to give my phase 2 recognition! She’s hands down one of the best teachers I’ve had . She so carrying and will go the extra mile to make sure we get the experience and practice we need ! There’s been endless times where if we didn’t have anyone to practice on she would find cosmetologists for us to work on ! She made school enjoyable and comfortable. I am very appreciative of her and glad she was able to teach me !
