Can I Still Start Esthiology This Year? Yes, on November 12

Yes. Our next esthiology class starts Thursday, November 12, and the enrollment deadline is tomorrow, Wednesday, October 28. If tomorrow comes too fast, there is one more esthiology start this year, on December 14. Here is what to do this week for either one.

The November Dates

Enrollment deadline: Wednesday, October 28. Orientation: Wednesday, November 4. Class starts: Thursday, November 12. Kit day: Wednesday, November 18. The class meets Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

What the Program Covers

Esthiology is 600 clock hours of skin care training. You learn skin analysis and the science of how skin is built, then facials, waxing and sugaring, and makeup application, first in the classroom and then with guests in our salon under licensed educators. The program closes with preparation for the written and practical exams required for New Mexico licensure.

A New Mexico esthetician license leads to work in salons, brow and lash studios, skin care retail and product education, and independent practice. It all starts with the same 600 hours.

What to Have Ready

Every applicant provides evidence of high school completion. That can be a copy of a high school diploma, a high school transcript showing the completion date, a GED certificate or transcript with passing scores, or a college degree or transcript showing at least an associate degree. Our admissions team will give you the rest of the checklist when you call, so you know exactly what is still needed before the deadline.

Where the Tour Fits

A tour takes about thirty minutes and is the fastest way to answer your own questions. You will see the classrooms, the salon with student artists working, and the treatment rooms where esthiology services happen. Most people leave a tour knowing whether this is the place for them.

Financial Aid

Financial aid may be available to those who qualify. Start your FAFSA with our school code, 041745. Aid is often a mix of grants and loans, and loans are repaid, so admissions will walk you through your real options rather than a general estimate.

Our Monday through Wednesday esthiology class starts December 14. The enrollment deadline is Monday, November 30, and orientation is Tuesday, December 8. It is the last esthiology start of 2026.
